High Temperature Service Pipe

High Temperature Service Pipe

Overview

High Temperature service pipe are typically knows as heat exchanger pipe, which operates at 400 degree Celsius to 1100 degree Celsius. High Temperature service Alloy Steel pipe are known as Chrome Moly pipe. Basically there are two Type of High Temperature Steel Pipe: 1. High Temperature Carbon Steel pipe 2. High Temperature Alloy Steel pipe

High Temperature Carbon Steel pipe

ASTM A 106 Grade B specification covers carbon steel seamless pipe for high-temperature service. These pipe are used for Welding, bending, Flanging and similar Operation. High Temperature Material should furnish to Specification A 530.

High Temperature Alloy Steel pipe

ASTM A335 specification covers Alloy Steel Seamless pipe for high temperature service. These pipe are suitable for bending and similar forming operations, and for fusion welding. Selection of these pipe depends upon design, service conditions, mechanical properties, and high-temperature characteristics. High Temperature Alloy Steel pipe also include low Alloy Chrome Moly grades.
